A child in your lap and a picture book in your hand–the perfect way to help children expand their awareness of the world while you protect their innocence! Don’t let the term “picture book” fool you—the best of books are perfect for ALL ages.

Sometimes called “middle readers” or “chapter books”, our fiction section is best for readers aged eight to twelve. Many parents choose to read a chapter or two a night to children under eight, but over three.
Learning about famous people doesn’t have to wait until a history class in school…there are plenty of lovely picture books to spark a child’s interest in notable leaders, as well as biographies for older children.
What childrens’ bookshop would be complete without a section of poetry? From Mother Goose to Shel Silverstein, you’ll find rhymes you can’t live without!
