*Act Three: Spooky, scary Texas ghost stories for middle and high schoolers at 4:30 pm
*Act Four: Eerie Texas ghost stories for adults at 6:30 pm
Come in costume (or not!) and listen as we celebrate All Hallow’s Eve with age-appropriate tales and treats.

Eugy Workshop

Eugy Workshop

Attention all builders, puzzlers, and crafters! On Friday, October 12, Monkey and Dog is hosting a Eugy workshop from 4 to 5 pm. These adorable cardboard miniatures from New Zealand are made from recycled cardboard and rice-based inks and are ridiculously fun to assemble for ages 6 and up.

Yee-Haw!!!  In honor of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, Monkey and Dog Books will team with Mistletoe Musikgarten for a farm animals Tales ‘n Tunes on Wednesday, January 13th at 9:45 and 10:30.  Bring your best oinks, moos, baas, and join Ms. Carol and Ms. Shelley for a knee-slapping’ good time–but call to let us know you’re a-comin’….this barnyard’s a small one!  (Wear your cowboy/cowgirl hats!)

Tales 'n Tunes | August 5

Tales ‘n Tunes enjoyed making circles, singing about circles, finding circles, and reading about circles!  The two sessions were filled within a few hours–we were QUITE sad to have to turn so many children away!

Circles are EVERYWHERE–look around your house…make a circle with your fingers, then with your arms….put your toddler within, and hug!

Find Waldo Local | July

Find Waldo Local is a scavenger hunt hosted by Monkey and Dog Books with participating local Fort Worth merchants. In July 2015, Waldo spotters, young and old, are eligible for prizes throughout the month. The hunt will culminate with a grand ceremony held at Monkey and Dog Books.
